Sandia Peak rises 5000ft
above Albuquerque. A 2 3/4 mile tram ride gets you to the top. In this photo
from inside the tram car, we are nearing the top of the peak, travelling in
the 1 1/2 mile span between the nearest support tower and the upper terminal.
You can also walk up, but that is an adventure for another day.
