This hike, if you choose to accept it, can be done as an all day, 34K power hike or divided up into smaller, more leisurely chunks. The premise of this hike was to get from the Hilton Falls area to the Limehouse and back using, as much as possible, separate trails for the inbound and outbound journeys.

This hike travels across a variety of terrain, from the rocky, rolling paths of the Hilton Falls Side Trail to paths alongside cornfields to several roadside segments. The are few, if any, substantial hills encountered along any of these trails so the only physical challenge you will face is the distance, which is approximately 34km.

Trailmaps

There are a number of places to start this hike. I parked at a small parking area on 6th Line, just north of the spot I use for the other Hilton Falls hike. There are many other places you can use as the starting point; the attached file includes waypoints for several other spots.

Trail Map (small)

The color track lines on this map show the hike segments.

The green line is the section of the Bruce Trail from Limehouse to the north terminus of the Hilton Falls Side Trail.

The blue lines are the various side trails: Hilton Falls Side Trail, Venderleck Side Trail, and Black Creek Side Trail.

Using ExpertGPS or Panterra you can assemble these route segments into the desired hike. The track log file also contains a single track of the entire hike, beginning to end, in case you want to follow the same route I did. The gpx file also contains waypoints marking the beginning and ending of trails as well as major trail features and intersections.
